Types of classes
European Framework classes:
These classes are organised in line with the Common European Framework of Refernce for languages. They have the necessary grammar to carry on advancing step by step gradually.
Each class lasts 60 minutes and they can be taken according to the time you have free: two or three times a week. It’s a good idea to get into a regular habit of studying - the amount of classes you take doesn’t matter just the continuity.
You can have class in the morning or in the afternoon, from 10am until 6pm in the office next to Tobalaba station. If you need to take time out to travel, it doesn’t matter – you can continue with your classes after your return from visiting Chile
Our classes are completely in Spanish, including those at a basic level. The teachers have years of experience teaching immersion Spanish, so don’t worry even if you don’t speak a word; you will be surprised how quickly you will be communicating. We use an immersion method that allows you to listen to and use the language.
The basic level classes are focussed on communication in order to develop oral language and writing skills.
The teachers also have experience teaching students of different nationalities; Korean, English, Japanese, German, North American, Australians, French … They know what you need to learn and the order in which this needs to be done: the first important stage of survival Spanish where the it is not the correctness of the language that counts but the ability to communicate. The follows a second stage to perfect the language. This is why we don’t use books or pre-designed material – this has all been created and reviewed by us.
Thematic classes
These classes are planned by the European Mark and are focussed on addressing any particular needs in Spanish: for travel, for work etc.
You only need to speak to the teacher and explain the situation and they will be able to find or create the necessary materials for future classes.
